Technical Data

TELECOR current interrupters deliver accurate ON/OFF switching for close interval potential surveys. Time synchronisation is automatic. Surveys are thus free of concern about timer synchronization. Savings are obtained before and during field work, since human interventions for timer verification are eliminated.

Range of the transmitters in the order of 2'000 km :
DCF, 77.5 kHz (Mainflingen, Germany);
MSF, 60 kHz (Rugby, Great Britain); WWVB, 60 kHz (Fort Collins, USA);
France Inter, 162 kHz (TDF, Allouis, France).

Antenna :
Built-in within the casing.

Remote Control via GSM :
On request, TELECOR may be equipped with a GSM remote control receiver,
allowing to activate or inactivate the ON/OFF operation.

Power supply :
Autonomous power supply by built-in lithium batteries.
Running reserve : 8 years (typical value, depends on switching rates and relay type).

Output :
TELECOR 6.8 : Solid state DC relay, 25 A.
TELECOR 12 : Mechanical bistable relay 10 A.
TELECOR 3.4 : Solid state AC relay (220V or 110V, 10 A).
Options : TELECOR without relay (with control output for customers relay).
Relays with higher ratings are also available.

Operating Modes :
Manual switch with 3 positions : OFF, ON/OFF program 1, ON/OFF program 2.
ON/OFF programs : timing is programmed to customer specification, for example 12/3 seconds ON/OFF, and 27/3 seconds ON/OFF, or 1/3 and 1/5 minutes, or 0.2/0.8 and 1/4 seconds, etc.

Synchronism with universal time :
The switching times are synchronized to absolute time (universal time or Greenwich meantime) by radio control, with a fixed delay. Relative accuracy is better than 0.1 second in good reception conditions.

Operating Temperatures :
-25 ... +70 degrees.

Display :
Pilot lamp (LED) for radio signal check.

Connections :
Screw terminals in the casing.

Casing :
Plastic case, weatherproof, IP65, 200 x 150 x 75 mm. (8 x 6 x 3 inches).
Compact version (DCF with open collector output): 160 x 80 x 55 mm.
Relay : separate casing.

Installation :
Mounting against a wall, with corner plate for optimal orientation.

Weight :
In the order of 1 kg (2 lbs). Depends on model.
